Prime Minister: Continuing security efforts to apprehend those involved in the Karak attack

The Council of Ministers begins its Sunday session by reciting Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of the terrorist operation in Karak.

Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan during the Council of Ministers session: We renew our condolences, in the name of the Council of Ministers, to our people in the beloved city of Karak, and to the families and relatives of our martyrs in the despicable terrorist crime in Karak that took place last Friday, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

Prime Minister: This crime claimed the lives of the finest sons of this nation: Martyr Dr. Maher Adel Zureikat, Martyr Ihab Nayef Al-Halsa, Martyr Dr. Fadi Assem Al-Halsa, Martyr Dr. Khaled Mikhail Al-Halsa, Martyr Dr. Assem Amin Al-Burqan, Martyr Alaa Khalil Al-Masarwa, Martyr Marwan Khalil Khitan, Martyr Dr. Mohammad Yousef Al-Qassous, and Martyr Mazen Rasmi Al-Qassous.

Prime Minister: Over the past forty years, unfortunately, extremism, intolerance, and takfiri ideology have begun to spread, and it is necessary to continue and intensify efforts to root them out completely, as they have absolutely no place in this homeland and in this society.

Prime Minister: This is not just a security battle; it is a battle of awareness and thought. Nations and homelands collapse when sedition, fanaticism, racism, and extremism spread within their societies.

Prime Minister: Diversity, cohesion, and openness are what achieve intellectual, scientific, civilizational, and cultural prosperity, and they are what build distinguished societies. These are among the foundations upon which the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was established, and which this people built under its wise Hashemite leadership to always be a beacon in this region.

Prime Minister: All state agencies are working to apprehend these criminals so they may receive the punishment that such people deserve.
