The Prime Minister remembered the martyrs of the terrorist crime, who are: Dr. Maher Adel Zureikat, Ihab Nayef Al-Halsa, Dr. Fadi Assem Al-Halsa, Dr. Khaled Mikhail Al-Halsa, Dr. Assem Amin Al-Burqan, Alaa Khalil Al-Masarwa, Marwan Khalil Khaitan, Dr. Mohammad Yousef Al-Qassous, and Mazen Rasmi Al-Qassous.
He affirmed that extremism, intolerance, and takfiri ideology have spread over the past four decades, stressing the need to continue and intensify efforts to root out this ideology, as it is an ideology that has no place in Jordan and its society, pointing out that the Jordanian state has fought takfiri groups over the past decade and continues its efforts in this field.
He pointed out that confronting extremism is not limited to the security aspect, but also represents a battle of awareness and thought, warning that the spread of sedition, fanaticism, racism, and extremism threatens the cohesion of societies and the stability of nations.
He stressed that diversity, cohesion, and openness constitute fundamental pillars for achieving intellectual, scientific, civilizational, and cultural prosperity, and building distinguished societies, confirming that these principles represent an authentic part of the foundations upon which the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was built, and the Jordanian people, under their Hashemite leadership, have contributed to consolidating them so that the Kingdom remains a beacon in the region.
He confirmed that all state agencies continue to work to apprehend those involved in this crime and bring them to justice to receive the punishment they deserve in accordance with the law.
