Hassan: The sinful hands that claimed the lives of our sons in Karak will not escape punishment

Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said, during a security meeting in Karak Governorate, that the sinful, criminal, and misguided hands that claimed the lives of Jordanians "will not escape punishment."

Hassan prayed for the souls of the martyrs, saying they were "among the best sons of this nation," and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

He added that the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II mandate that all agencies work and all resources be utilized to bring the criminals to justice so they receive the punishment they deserve, stressing that the security services will not hesitate to do so and will be able to reach them.

Hassan emphasized that what happened is the result of "takfiri terrorist ideology and blind extremism," stressing that the government will not allow society to follow this path.

He said that the government will take the maximum legal measures against anyone who practices sedition and anyone who attempts to find an entry point for extremism into society, emphasizing that this is "essential and necessary."

Hassan added that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, will remain "an impenetrable barrier against this takfiri ideology and these misguided outlaws," stressing that "there is absolutely no place for them among us, and no place for anyone who cooperated with them in our country and our society."
