At least three people were killed and others injured on Monday due to a Pakistani airstrike on Kunar province in northeastern Afghanistan, according to a local official.
The airstrike comes two days after an attack on a police facility in northwestern Pakistan, threatening a resumption of fighting between the two neighbors who had their worst conflict in years in February.
