Pakistan announced on Thursday that it had launched airstrikes with fighter jets and drones targeting ten sites in Afghanistan, accusing its neighbor of providing "sanctuaries for terrorists" on its territory.
Pakistani Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar said on the X platform, "Pakistan carried out precise airstrikes with fighter jets and drones on ten sites in Afghanistan." He added, "The strikes were deliberate, precise, well-considered, and proportionate, and were limited entirely to specific military targets directly linked to attempts to launch attacks against Pakistan."
