The CEO of Oman LNG Company, Hamad Al-Neamani, said on Tuesday that the crisis related to the Strait of Hormuz will end soon.
Al-Neamani stated during his participation in a forum in Bangkok that the strait crisis will not change the company's long-term plans.
He added, "We have already been planning to increase production, and we have been working on it for two years. Therefore, we are not planning to face crises, but we are planning for more production"
Shipping data showed that navigation in the Strait of Hormuz saw further decline at the beginning of this week, following the escalation of attacks in the Middle East.
Initial data from Kepler showed that the number of ships crossing the strait was four on Monday, down from ten the previous day.
