Ministerial Meeting of the International Coalition to Support the Two-State Solution

A ministerial-level meeting of the International Coalition to Support the Two-State Solution was held today, Thursday, at the United Nations headquarters, under Saudi-French sponsorship.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, said in a press conference following the meeting that "The choice before us is clear: either preserving the two-state solution or seeing it fade on the ground. The window is narrowing but has not closed, so we must act now"

The Saudi minister stressed that the work is urgent, pointing to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and escalating violence and violations in the West Bank, including in Jerusalem, adding that developments on the ground undermine the prospects of establishing a viable Palestinian state.
