Launch of the 6th Jordan Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival Logo

The 6th Jordan Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival launched its official logo in a visual identity that draws elements from the Jordanian heritage and combines camel racing and Nabati poetry, reflecting the festival's traditional and cultural character.

The logo design features images of camels and riders, symbolizing camel racing and the movement of the field, while a pen nib represents Nabati poetry and the cultural aspect of the festival, along with six stars symbolizing the sixth edition of the festival.

The launch of the visual identity coincides with preparations for the sixth edition of the festival, which combines sports, heritage, and cultural events, while preparations continue for the Nabati poetry competition, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and open to Jordanian and Arab poets.

The Ministry has set participation conditions, including that the poet must be at least 18 years old, the poem must be at least 15 verses, and it must be new, innovative, and authentic.

The 6th Jordan Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival will be held at Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan Racecourse in the Disah area of Wadi Rum from October 16 to October 21 next, as part of a program that includes local and international camel races, endurance competitions, the most beautiful camels competition, the Nabati poetry competition, and several accompanying events.

The Nabati poetry competition gains special presence within the festival as a space to celebrate this poetic form connected to memory and Arab heritage, providing an opportunity for poetic talents to express their experiences and issues, and enhancing the presence of Nabati poetry in the Jordanian and Arab cultural scene.
