Labor Party condemns the terrorist incident in Karak

The Secretary-General of the Labor Party, MP Mutaz Abu Ruman, condemned the incident that took place at the Greek Orthodox Church in the Hamoud area of Karak Governorate, affirming his rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that target the security and stability of the nation, or violate places of worship and the sanctity of holy sites.

In a statement, Abu Ruman emphasized that Jordan will remain united in the face of everything that targets its security and national fabric, and that the unity and cohesion of Jordanians, across all their spectrums and components, constitute a safety valve against attempts to incite strife or undermine societal peace.

Abu Ruman called on citizens to exercise national responsibility and not to circulate rumors or publish unreliable information about the incident, stressing the importance of obtaining information from its official sources and not being drawn into circulating news that may cause anxiety or affect the security of society.

He stressed his confidence in the Jordanian security services and their ability to deal with the incident and uncover its circumstances in accordance with legal procedures, praying to God to keep Jordan safe and stable, and to perpetuate the blessing of unity, brotherhood, and peace for Jordanians.
