The Israeli Attorney General ruled on Sunday to postpone the deadline for submitting bids for the controversial 'E1' project, which would separate the northern occupied West Bank from the south, until after the elections.
A spokesperson for the Attorney General, Gali Baharav-Miara, said, "The Attorney General instructed the relevant authorities to postpone the deadline for submitting bids by one month until after the elections, reducing concerns about using the tender in election propaganda, which is prohibited," referring to the upcoming legislative elections scheduled for October 27.
