Israeli Incursion into a Lebanese Town and Arrest of Locals

A Lebanese security source announced that an Israeli army patrol infiltrated the Halta farm in Hasbaya District, southern Lebanon, coinciding with Israeli machinery plowing olive groves in the area.

The patrol members searched several houses at the edge of the farm, amid machine gun sweeps towards the area, and subjected the locals, both women and men, to interrogation, investigation, and arrest.

The source said that the Israeli army dismantled solar energy equipment on rooftops and internet cables, while the town and its surroundings are witnessing a state of field tension, with reports of the arrest of several young men from the town, coinciding with the difficulty of reaching some roads leading to the area, and the sound of an explosion was heard in the vicinity of the town.
