The President and members of the Board of Directors of the Irbid Chamber of Commerce and the commercial sector in Irbid Governorate affirmed their support for the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and their full support for the courageous and steadfast positions contained in His Majesty's speech at the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
The Council stressed in a statement issued by it, that the contents of the royal speech came to accurately express the conscience of the Jordanian street and the nation, and to embody the firm constants of the Kingdom in defending just causes, at the forefront of which is the Palestinian cause, and protecting national security.
The commercial sector in Irbid Governorate expressed its deep pride in the tireless and continuous efforts exerted by His Majesty in international forums to enhance the status of Jordan and defend the supreme interests of the nation, affirming their unity behind the Hashemite leadership to protect the security and stability of the homeland and its achievements.
The statement concluded by praying that God preserve the dear Jordan and its noble people, and that His Majesty King Abdullah II remain a support and a treasure for the homeland and the nation.
