The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, Eng. Ziad Al-Saaideh, inspected this Sunday morning the Operations Center and Control Room (SCADA) at the Electricity Distribution Company, in the presence of the company's General Manager, Eng. Reem Hamdan, to review the preparedness of the electrical grid and the procedures followed to ensure supply continuity.
Al-Saaideh emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the Commission and sector companies, directing the Commission's teams to continue regulatory and field monitoring through the monitoring and emergency center and to enhance coordination with partners around the clock, to support the readiness of the energy system, supply reliability, and the continuity of services to citizens in various regions of the Kingdom.
