The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, Ziad Al-Saida, inspected on Sunday the operations center and control room (SCADA) at the Electricity Distribution Company, to check the readiness of the electrical grid and the measures taken to ensure the continuity of supply, in the presence of the company's General Manager, Reem Hamdan.
Al-Saida emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the Commission and sector companies, directing the Commission's teams to continue monitoring and field follow-up through the monitoring and emergency center, and to enhance coordination with the concerned authorities around the clock, to ensure the readiness of the energy system, the reliability of supply, and the continuity of services to citizens in various regions of the Kingdom.
