He explained that the alternative site for the kiosks and public transport buses is located about 500 meters from the main site, which is undergoing rehabilitation works, as part of an integrated plan in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, the Greater Amman Municipality, and the relevant institutions, contributing to improving traffic flow in the capital.
Al-Tarman pointed out that some laboratory tests and supporting documents for reviewing the designs have been prepared, confirming the commitment to the specified contractual period for implementing the alternative kiosks project, in light of the speed of completion achieved during the first week of starting the work.
The project, which is considered an integrated transport hub, connects the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) buses on the Amman-Zarqa route with the BRT buses within Amman.
The project, which was designed in a modern style, extends over a total area of approximately 45,000 square meters and includes modern facilities equipped with smart mobility systems, elevators, escalators, and integrated services that take into account accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly.
It is noteworthy that the execution period for the new Al-Mahatta complex project is two years, and the project site is located within an area that witnesses active movement of public transport and high density of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
