Establishment of 5 Laboratories at Mutah University's Dentistry College

The Faculty of Dentistry at Mutah University continues to implement its development plans aimed at enhancing the quality of the educational and academic process, and strengthening the training environment for students, by establishing five new specialized laboratories and equipping them with the latest devices, equipment, and technologies used in the fields of dentistry, in line with the rapid developments witnessed globally in the medical sector.
Dean of the College, Dr. Ayman Al-Qatatat, confirmed that the establishment of the laboratories and their equipment comes within the framework of the College's keenness to develop its educational and training system, and to link theoretical knowledge with practical applications, thereby providing students with the opportunity to train in a modern educational environment that simulates the nature of clinical and specialized work.
Al-Qatatat pointed out that the development works also included the installation of modern and advanced screens inside the newly established laboratories, with the aim of facilitating the process of delivering scientific information, and enabling faculty members to display practical applications and procedures clearly and accurately in front of students, thereby enhancing interaction within the educational environment and improving the efficiency of practical training.
The newly established laboratories include five specialized fields, namely: Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Laboratory, Periodontal Treatment and Dental Care Laboratory, Fixed Prosthodontics Laboratory, Restorative Treatment and Endodontic Treatment Laboratory, in addition to the Removable Prosthodontics Laboratory.
These laboratories provide a specialized training environment that allows students to apply the skills and knowledge they acquire during academic courses, and to practice procedures related to various dental specialties, thereby enhancing the integration between the theoretical and practical aspects of the educational plan.
