The Russian Ministry of Energy announced today, Wednesday, an increase in diesel production in Russian refineries to about 225 thousand tons per day during this October, compared to lower levels last month.
The ministry said in a statement that the quantities that can be allocated for export are about 80 thousand tons per day, after meeting local demand, noting that the export of shipments is subject to government quotas that aim to increase exports without causing fuel shortages within the Russian market.
