The Russian Ministry of Energy announced today, Tuesday, that the revenues from the export of liquefied natural gas transported by sea increased by 8 percent year-on-year in August, exceeding flows of about $1.3 billion during the latest half-monthly period, according to available data.
The ministry said in a statement that the increase in revenues from liquefied natural gas exports reflects the rise in the value of flows during the recent period, while Russia continues to export liquefied natural gas transported by sea to foreign markets, despite the challenges imposed on the energy sector.
