Arab Bank has continued its support for Dar Abu Abdullah programs, in continuation of its commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at enhancing food security and economic empowerment. This comes within the framework of the bank's ongoing efforts to develop community initiatives and create a tangible impact in supporting the economic and social development of target groups through sustainable productive projects.
Within the framework of this cooperation, a volunteer activity was carried out at "Al-Dar Farm" at Mutah University in Karak Governorate, in cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali, where a team of Arab Bank volunteers participated in harvesting tomatoes as part of the agricultural cycle for the current season, with direct support for 21 beneficiaries of women and youth.
Arab Bank's support for the Dar Abu Abdullah Association falls within the strategic cooperation between the bank and Tkiyet Um Ali, which is entering its nineteenth consecutive year. This cooperation includes several main pillars, represented by supporting efforts to combat hunger and food poverty by renewing the sponsorship of more than 100 families benefiting from Tkiyet Um Ali through sustainable monthly food parcels, and supporting the agricultural cycle at "Al-Dar Farm" at Mutah University, which includes 21 greenhouses, thereby enhancing economic empowerment opportunities for women and youth in Karak.
It is worth noting that Arab Bank adopts an integrated strategy in terms of sustainability and social responsibility, reflecting its keenness to enhance its economic, social, and environmental impact by working with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development. The Arab Bank's social responsibility program "Together" is one of the fruits of this approach, as it is based on several key pillars including: health, education, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, supporting orphans, and women's empowerment.
