((Amman Puppet Arts Days)) kicks off on October 4

The first edition of "Amman Puppet Arts Days" will kick off on the fourth of next October, organized by the Child Culture Directorate at the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Jordanian Artists Association. The event will continue until the sixth of the same month, under the patronage of Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, at the Directorate of Theater and Visual Arts – Osama Al-Mashini Theater.

The three-day event includes an artistic and cultural program specialized in puppet arts, with the participation of artists and specialized troupes, alongside performances and activities aimed at children, allowing them to interact with this theatrical art based on performance, imagination, movement, and imagery.

The holding of the first edition comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's interest in expanding cultural programs and events aimed at children, supporting performing and theatrical arts, and providing an opportunity for Jordanian artists to present their experiences and develop their tools in the field of puppet theater and puppetry arts.

The event aims to enhance the presence of puppet arts in the Jordanian cultural scene, introduce its various techniques and styles, and provide artistic content that combines entertainment and educational value, contributing to developing children's imagination and strengthening their connection to theater and the arts.

The first edition seeks to establish a specialized artistic event that can be expanded in future editions by broadening the participation of local artists and troupes, and providing opportunities to host Arab and international experiences in puppet arts.
