Al-Shaibani: Syria rejects the violation of its sovereignty and insists on its territorial integrity before the Security Council

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani stated that Syria affirmed before the UN Security Council, in the presence and with the support of more than forty countries from around the world, its rejection of the violation of its sovereignty and the entry of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into its territories.

Al-Shaibani added in a post via the "X" platform on Saturday that Syria renewed its adherence to the country's unity, the independence of its decision-making, and its territorial integrity.

He appreciated the prompt response of the international position supporting the Syrian Arab Republic in confronting what he described as "continuous Israeli violations," pointing out that this consensus confirms that respecting the independence of states and their territorial integrity is a firm principle of the international order.

Al-Shaibani emphasized that Syria will continue its responsible approach, relying on the provisions of international law and the UN Charter, and will proceed in defending its national rights through all legitimate political and diplomatic means.

He said that Syria's security, stability, and territorial integrity are "a mutual interest for both Syrians and the international community alike," affirming the continued work to consolidate stability and enhance respect for the rules of international law.
