The Syrian President sent his greetings to His Majesty the King, emphasizing the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the keenness to enhance them through broader cooperation in various fields, in a way that serves both peoples and countries.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries and regional developments.
Safadi and al-Shaibani held expanded talks, in which they affirmed their keenness to build upon the continuous development of Jordanian-Syrian relations, continue working to develop them into a comprehensive strategic partnership, and enhance operational and institutional cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The two ministers discussed preparations for the third session of the Higher Coordination Council scheduled to be held in Damascus this October, and followed up on the implementation of the outcomes of the second session held in Amman last April, translating what was agreed upon into operational steps, especially in the sectors of trade, investment, transport, customs, water, energy, and other priority sectors, in a way that achieves the interests of both countries and peoples.
Safadi affirmed the Kingdom's firm position in supporting brotherly Syria in the reconstruction process on foundations that ensure its unity, sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its territories and citizens, and preserve the rights of all Syrians, stressing that Syria's security and stability are a pillar for the security and stability of the region.
Safadi welcomed the announcement of the dissolution of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and their integration into Syrian military institutions, considering it an important step towards strengthening the unity, security, and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic, affirming the Kingdom's support for all efforts aimed at strengthening Syria's unity, sovereignty, and the cohesion of its institutions.
Safadi and al-Shaibani also discussed the developments in southern Syria and the efforts made to implement the joint Jordanian-Syrian-American roadmap regarding resolving the crisis in As-Suwayda and the stability of southern Syria, based on the unity of Syrian territory, ensuring the security of all Syrian citizens, their rights, and the sovereignty of the Syrian state over all its territories.

The ministers warned of the consequences of continued Israeli attacks on Syria's security and stability and on regional security and stability, at a time when the Syrian government is focusing on reconstruction and ensuring Syria's security and stability, and is pursuing a diplomatic path to address outstanding issues and achieve de-escalation.
Safadi and al-Shaibani emphasized the need to end the Israeli occupation of the Syrian territories it has occupied, respect Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and stop all interventions that target its security and stability.

Al-Shaibani affirmed the Syrian Arab Republic's standing with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Arab countries in all steps taken to protect their territories, sovereignty, and security from repeated Iranian attacks.
