The director of Ajloun Tourism, Firas Al-Khatib, said that tourist routes are among the experiences that contribute to diversifying the tourist product in the governorate by introducing visitors to new sites that combine nature and historical heritage and offering different experiences beyond the well-known tourist sites.
Al-Khatib added that the directorate supports efforts and initiatives that seek to highlight the tourist assets in Ajloun, pointing to the importance of partnership with tourist guides and the local community in introducing sites that have natural and heritage value and encouraging domestic tourism.
Member of the initiative 'Our Tourism is Our Wealth', Arab Freihat, said that documenting tourist sites and introducing them medially is an important step to highlight the assets that Ajloun Governorate possesses, explaining that conveying the image of these sites through media content contributes to reaching wider segments of visitors.
He added that cooperation between local initiatives and those interested in tourism contributes to collecting information related to natural and heritage sites and highlighting their stories, thereby enhancing their presence within tourist experiences and encouraging the discovery of new areas in the governorate.
Ajloun Governorate has many natural and historical sites that have tourist value, while some of these sites suffer from being remote from well-known tourist programs despite their beauty and diversity.
Individual initiatives and local efforts led by those interested in the tourism sector seek to introduce these areas and include them in experiences and routes that help discover their natural and historical details.
