36 Jordanian companies showcase their products at the Saudi Food and Industry Exhibitions

36 local companies specializing in food industries will begin their participation in the Saudi Food Exhibition and the Saudi Industrial Exhibition (2026) held together in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday.

According to the Jordanian Exporters Association, which organizes the Jordanian pavilion, the participating Jordanian companies in the exhibitions are distributed across sectors of oriental sweets, chocolate, baked goods, dairy, grains, mills, starches, nuts, roasters, and carbonated beverages, in addition to others specialized in food ingredients, raw materials, packaging, industrial machinery, and equipment.

According to a statement by the Association, Saturday, the two exhibitions, which are participated in by Jordan along with 14 Arab countries, feature a thousand exhibitors from 95 countries, 100,000 food products, in addition to 25,000 food sector specialists, within an integrated platform that links food production, manufacturing, supply, trade, and demand.

Ahmad Al-Khodari, President of the Jordanian Exporters Association, confirmed that the Saudi market represents one of the most important strategic markets for Jordanian exports, benefiting from the strong economic relations between the two brotherly countries, geographical proximity, and the complementarity between the Jordanian and Saudi private sectors.

He said that the organization of the Jordanian participation in the exhibition for the third consecutive year reflects the Association's keenness to support exporters and promote national products in priority markets, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not only a huge consumer market but also an important gateway to reach other Gulf and regional markets.

He added that the growth of Jordanian exports to Saudi Arabia confirms the size of the opportunities available to the private sector, which calls for intensifying efforts to increase exports and diversify products directed to this market, especially food industries, agricultural products, and value-added goods.

He explained that this participation comes within the Association's strategy aimed at using specialized international exhibitions as a direct platform to connect Jordanian companies with importers, distributors, retail chains, and entities working in the food sector, which contributes to turning promotional opportunities into actual commercial deals and partnerships.

He pointed out that the participation provides Jordanian companies with an opportunity to communicate directly with importers, distributors, and buyers in the Saudi market, and to get to know their needs, consumption trends, and available opportunities, considering it a practical tool for opening markets and reaching new buyers, and building commercial relationships that can be transformed into sustainable contracts and export opportunities.

He noted that the Jordanian food industries sector has broad growth potential in the Saudi market, thanks to the diversity of its products and its competitive ability, calling on participating companies to invest in the exhibition to enhance their brands and develop long-term relationships with importers and Saudi companies.

He pointed out that Jordanian products have a good presence in the Saudi market, covering multiple fields including food industries, agricultural products, dates, sweets, baked goods, and dairy products, which provides a suitable base for continued growth and increased exports.

For his part, the Director General of the Association, Halim Abu Rahma, confirmed that the three-day exhibitions are important events and a real opportunity for Jordanian companies to build global partnerships that contribute to making the Kingdom a regional center for food security in the region.

He pointed out that the Association seeks to make increasing exports to the Saudi market a main axis in its efforts to support the national economy, stimulate industrial and agricultural production, and enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian companies in regional and international markets, noting that the next phase of work requires building strategic and long-term export partnerships, through intensifying bilateral meetings between businessmen and companies in both countries, expanding the base of importers and distributors, in addition to continuing to develop national products in line with market requirements and consumer needs.

Abu Rahma confirmed that the Saudi market is at the forefront of the Association's plans and programs to promote national exports, due to its economic weight and geographical proximity, and the promising prospects it provides for Jordanian companies to expand and increase the volume of their business, which reflects positively on the drivers of national economic growth.
