The quantities of vegetables that arrived at the Central Wholesale Market of the Greater Amman Municipality today, Wednesday, reached 1865 tons, while the quantity of fruits reached 882 tons and leafy greens 166 tons.
According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items that arrived today, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Ajam black eggplant ranged between 15-25 piasters, dry onions 20-35 piasters, potatoes 25-47 piasters, tomatoes 5-12 piasters, carrots 25-35 piasters, lettuce 15-25 piasters, cucumbers 20-45 piasters, corn 25-50 piasters, cauliflower 20-60 piasters, cantaloupe 15-60 piasters, zucchini 50-90 piasters, lemons 40-110 piasters, cabbage 25-35 piasters, molokhia 15-25 piasters, and local bananas 55-90 piasters.
