Yemeni President: Operation 'Dawn of Yemen' is Moving Forward Until Its Objectives are Achieved

The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, said on Wednesday that Operation 'Dawn of Yemen' is moving towards its objectives, and that the Yemeni Armed Forces, security, and resistance will continue to perform their duty until the restoration of state institutions and the completion of the liberation of the country.

Al-Alimi emphasized during his meeting with the leadership of the National Coalition of Political Parties and Components that political parties and components are a key partner in the political, popular, and media front, and that restoring the state is a shared national responsibility, not just the task of the armed forces alone.

The meeting discussed the latest national developments, ways to enhance the political forces' response to the requirements of the stage, and to expand their role in supporting state institutions, and mobilizing the political and community front in parallel with the launch of the Dawn of Yemen operation. It also discussed mechanisms to transition the political positions supporting the state into an organized and effective work program, enhancing the presence of political parties and components in the governorates.

He confirmed that the launch of the 'Dawn of Yemen' operation represents a new phase in the path of restoring state institutions and completing the liberation of the remaining Yemeni territories up to the capital, Sanaa.

He also confirmed that the battle of the Yemeni Armed Forces requires a cohesive political, popular, and media front, working with its legitimate tools to boost the morale of citizens, enhance confidence in the state, confront misleading information, and prevent militias from turning temporary field developments into political or psychological gains.

Al-Alimi called on political parties and components to activate their presence and branches in the governorates, strengthen their ties with local communities, contribute to addressing citizens' issues, and maintain communication channels with their cadres and supporters in areas under militia control by force.

He explained that military operations may show progress on one front and temporary complications on another, but the direction and objectives of the state will not change, which is to restore Sanaa and extend state control over all its territories.

Al-Alimi pointed out that we may face difficulties, but we will not retreat from our goal of restoring the state and its institutions, completing the liberation of Yemen, and opening the way for a just and sustainable peace, affirming that the Dawn of Yemen is not just the name of a military operation, but a promise that this war will end with a state, and that Yemenis will regain their republic and their desired future.
