Al-Alimi Announces Start of Military Operation to Retake Houthi-Controlled Areas

The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, announced on Sunday the start of military operations to retake the remaining territories from Houthi control.
In a speech, Al-Alimi called on the residents of areas under Houthi control to cooperate with the Yemeni Armed Forces.
He said: "We will take responsibility for confronting the Houthi militia after all opportunities for de-escalation have been exhausted."
