Yemen announces execution of 1,292 targeting operations against the Houthis within 24 hours

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of 1,292 targeting operations against military positions belonging to the Houthi group over the past 24 hours, as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, stating that they resulted in the death or neutralization of more than 430 elements and the destruction or disabling of more than 100 vehicles, carriages, and military means.

The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Colonel Staff Majed Al-Nuzeili, said that the operations targeted defensive positions, fortifications, trenches, sources of fire, reserve gatherings, and means of transport and supply.

He added that the forces achieved field progress on the eastern front in Marib Governorate, taking control of what he described as commanding positions, while operations continue on the southern and western fronts.

In Taiz, Al-Nuzeili said that warplanes targeted Houthi reinforcements and combat positions, noting the detention of a number of their field commanders and dealing with them in accordance with approved military and legal procedures.

He added that the military engineering units are continuing to clear landmines and explosive devices, open advance routes, and secure areas recaptured by the forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces called on the residents of areas under Houthi control to protect their children from recruitment campaigns and throwing them into combat.
