The United Nations World Food Programme has warned that a lack of funding is forcing significant cuts to its operations in the Gaza Strip, leaving about 500,000 people without monthly food assistance in an area where two-thirds of the population still suffer from severe food insecurity.
The program stated on its official website that it has reduced its planned monthly assistance from 1.6 million people to 1.1 million people.
