The US House of Representatives approved a new, wide-ranging sanctions package on Wednesday aimed at increasing pressure on Russia over its war in Ukraine, and sent the bill to President Donald Trump for his signature.
The Republican-controlled House passed the bill with a majority of 262 votes to 159, in the largest US legislative move against Moscow since Trump returned to the White House.
