The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced that the mobile assistance office of the field office in Irbid continues to provide advisory services to refugees during October 2026, in a number of locations in the governorates of Irbid, Jerash, and Ramtha, through pre-scheduled appointments.
According to the schedule of mobile assistance offices, the Family Health Institute – King Hussein Foundation receives visitors on October 5 and 12, while the office provides services at the Jerash Women's Association on October 19, and at the Al-Takafi Charity Association in Ramtha on October 26.
Mobile assistance offices provide advisory services to refugees in the governorates of Irbid, Jerash, and Ajloun, after booking an appointment in advance via the UNHCR helpline, as part of organizing access to services and providing the opportunity for the largest possible number of refugees to benefit from them.
The UNHCR emphasized the necessity of not visiting mobile assistance offices without a prior appointment, explaining that each person can book only one appointment during the month, to organize the provision of services.
The assistance office is present at the specified locations within the schedule from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM on the days designated for each location.
Mobile assistance offices allow refugees in the targeted areas to obtain advisory and protection services without the need to visit the field office in Irbid, provided that the appointment is booked in advance according to the approved mechanism.
