During his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump described Iran as the number one sponsor of terrorism, accusing the Iranian regime of practicing violence and spreading chaos in the Middle East and beyond for 51 years.
He said that since the first day of his presidency, he had been committed to not allowing Iran to possess nuclear weapons, indicating that he had started negotiations with it and offered economic cooperation in return for ending its nuclear program and support for terrorism, but it rejected the offer, according to him.
Trump added that the US military carried out Operation 'Midnight Hammer', which he said eliminated and destroyed Iran's nuclear program.
He renewed his call for Iran to conclude an agreement, warning of its continued development of missiles, and said that Tehran was working on manufacturing a missile capable of reaching Europe, calling on Europeans to take this into account.
Trump claimed that Iran was seeking to complete its possession of nuclear weapons by developing its ballistic missile capabilities, warning of the consequences for international security.
