US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he had reached an agreement with Denmark and Greenland that grants his country 'permanent' control over the security of the polar island and prevents any military presence of his country's adversaries on it.
Trump said in a post on his platform Truth Social, 'I am pleased to announce that the United States of America has reached an agreement with the Kingdom of Denmark and Greenland, granting the United States permanent control over security and all other needs in Greenland'.
