Traffic Department: Traffic congestion on Sweileh road towards the Eighth Circle and Airport road towards the Seventh Circle

Traffic Operations Room Officer, Captain Musab Al-Marayat, stated that the heaviest morning traffic congestion is concentrated at the exit of the Safout tunnel (Sweileh) towards the Khalda tunnel, reaching the Eighth Circle and the Airport road, in addition to the Manaseer area towards the Seventh Circle, while traffic units are working to regulate movement and manage the congestion.

Al-Marayat explained that traffic units have been deployed since the early morning hours at the entrances and exits of the capital and on main streets, especially roads leading to schools, university vicinities, and passenger transport terminals, to ensure smooth traffic flow and address any obstacles.

He pointed out that the Airport road is witnessing active traffic, especially at the entrance of the Prince Hussein Bridge towards the Manaseer station and the Seventh Circle area, while traffic units are managing movement at the Al-Multaqa tunnel, King Abdullah II Street, and areas surrounding the King Hussein Medical Center.

He added that the movement includes varying levels of congestion on Al-Shaheed Street, Al-Jaish Street, Istiqlal Street, and Zahran Street, with traffic patrols and fixed and mobile units deployed to regulate traffic.
