Two introductory sessions for Karak youth on the Hussein Award for Voluntary Work at Vocational Training

The Karak Governorate Youth Directorate, in cooperation with the Vocational Training Center in Karak, carried out two introductory sessions on the Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work, with the participation of 45 female trainees, with the aim of introducing the award and encouraging participation in purposeful voluntary initiatives.

The two sessions addressed the importance of preparing and developing voluntary initiatives, transforming creative ideas into qualitative and sustainable initiatives that contribute to serving the local community, and promoting the values of social responsibility, belonging, and active citizenship, in addition to emphasizing the importance of participating in the fourth edition of the award.

The award liaison officers, Dr. Hiyam Al-Hamaida and Mohammad Al-Laimon, along with the award ambassador Mohammad Al-Dhunaibat, provided an explanation of the award's vision, mission, objectives, fields, categories, participation criteria, nomination conditions, and the electronic registration and application mechanism. They also introduced the "Nahnu" volunteering platform and its role in documenting achievements and volunteering hours.

The ongoing sessions implemented by the directorate in various areas of the governorate come within the Ministry of Youth's efforts aimed at empowering youth, entrenching the culture of volunteer work, expanding participation in the award, and motivating individuals and institutions to launch voluntary initiatives that contribute to serving the community and achieving a sustainable positive impact.
