The Official Gazette Publishes a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the Diplomatic Institute and the University of China

The Official Gazette, in its issue number 6076, published a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the University of China for Foreign Affairs, following the approval of the Cabinet in its session held on August 16, 2026, on the memorandum.
The memorandum comes within the framework of the desire to strengthen friendly relations and encourage academic exchange and cooperation between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the University of China for Foreign Affairs, hereinafter referred to as the 'Parties', where the Parties reached the memorandum of understanding after conducting friendly consultations.
Article One stipulates the agreement of the Parties to conduct exchange visits that include leaders and researchers from both sides regarding the implementation of the memorandum.
Article Two stipulates the exchange of visiting researchers and lecturers to give short-term lectures according to the needs of each.
Under Article Three, the Parties participate in student exchange programs.
Article Four stipulates that in the event of the availability of financial resources, the Parties hold joint academic seminars on topics of mutual interest to be agreed upon.
Article Five stipulates that the Parties agree to exchange expertise in the field of teaching, research, curricula, and academic courses, as well as other related academic materials between the two institutions, and the Parties also conduct joint academic research and publish their achievements in the form of academic studies.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Chinese President Xi Jinping witnessed in Beijing on August 24 last year the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute and the University of China for Foreign Affairs, with the aim of facilitating academic exchange between professors and student exchange programs and related visits, and organizing joint seminars on topics of mutual interest.
