The Media Authority circulated to electronic and print publications, satellite and radio broadcasting stations, the necessity of coordinating and prior communication with the Dental Syndicate, before participating in any television or radio interviews with any dentist, individually or personally, discussing the profession of dentistry or the therapeutic services provided in the profession.
The Authority emphasized today, Monday, the necessity of preventing the exploitation of media appearances for advertising or personal promotion, in a way that preserves the dignity and reputation of the profession, and enhances the status of Jordan and its distinguished reputation in the field of medical tourism, stressing the importance of avoiding the dissemination of scientifically inaccurate, exaggerated, and incorrect information to the audience of listeners and viewers.
