His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Friday, emphasized the urgent need to intensify efforts to restore stability in the region, calling on the international community to intensify its diplomatic efforts to avoid expanding the circle of conflict.
During joint press statements with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, in Prague, His Majesty expressed Jordan's rejection of continued settlement expansion, escalating settler violence, forced displacement, and attempts to impose a new reality, which collectively pose a direct threat to regional security.
He stressed that Jordan continues to emphasize the importance of dialogue and respect for international law, and supports all efforts to achieve peace and stability.
His Majesty affirmed that Jordan continues to take all necessary measures to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.
