Targeting of an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran causes a "limited fire"

The Saudi Ministry of Energy announced on Wednesday morning that a "limited fire" broke out in one of the administrative buildings belonging to the oil giant Aramco in the city of Dhahran in the east of the Kingdom, after it was targeted on Tuesday evening.

The ministry stated in a post on the X platform, citing an official source, "On Tuesday evening, one of the administrative buildings belonging to Saudi Aramco in the city of Dhahran in the Eastern Province was targeted, resulting in a limited fire," noting that "the competent authorities dealt with the incident and took the necessary measures, confirming that there were no injuries or deaths."

The Saudi-led military coalition announced on Tuesday the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched by the Iran-backed Houthis toward the Eastern Province, where witnesses told Agence France-Presse they heard explosions at an Aramco oil facility.
