Water Authority personnel, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, seized an illegal drilling rig on Monday in the Al-Jafr area of Ma'an Governorate while it was drilling an illegal well.
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority stated that the seizure was carried out by personnel from the Internal Control Unit, Water Basins, and Central Workshops, as part of ongoing inspection campaigns conducted by the Water Authority in various regions of the Kingdom, in collaboration with relevant authorities, within the framework of a campaign to tighten control over water sources.
