The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced on Monday the targeting of "military targets" for the Houthis in Al Hudaydah on the Red Sea coast, as part of its participation in the attack launched by the Yemeni government on Sunday.
The spokesman for the military coalition supporting the Yemeni government, Turki Al-Maliki, said via the "X" platform that "the coalition's naval forces carried out a military operation in Al Hudaydah province that included the destruction of legitimate military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia," noting the "destruction of weapon stores, warehouses of explosive boats, and naval mines," which he said "thwarted a plan for imminent attacks targeting the waterways south of the Red Sea"
