The military coalition supporting the government in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, announced on Thursday the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles and drones in the cities of Khamis Mushait and Jazan in southern the Kingdom, for the first time since September 26, pointing the finger of accusation at the Houthis in Yemen.
The coalition's spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki, said on the "X" platform, "Intercepting and destroying two ballistic missiles in the cities of Khamis Mushait and Jazan... and 4 drones in Khamis Mushait," noting that the coalition continues "to take and implement operational measures to deter the terrorist Houthi militia," while the civil defense reported that fragments of intercepting a ballistic missile fell in Khamis Mushait province and led to "limited material damage."
