The official spokesman for the Coalition Forces "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced on Thursday the interception and destruction of a drone launched by the Houthi militia towards the southern region in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Maliki stated that a drone was intercepted and destroyed in the city of Khamis Mushait, according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
For more than ten days, Saudi Arabia has been subjected to near-daily attacks carried out by the Houthis using missiles and drones, the most violent of which was an attack on Riyadh Airport on October 10, which resulted in 13 deaths and more than 300 injuries.
