Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, said on Thursday that the policies of the Israeli government and its illegitimate measures that threaten the security and stability of the region have been exposed to the world, affirming that Jordan will continue to expose the inhumanity of the occupation and the destructiveness of its continuation, and to mobilize practical, effective, and deterrent international steps.
Safadi said, in a post on the (X) platform, that voices are rising at the United Nations General Assembly meetings against the "inhumane" policies of the Israeli government, against the killing of children, the destruction of schools, the starvation of civilians, and the violation of the right of five million Palestinians living under occupation to freedom.
He added that the Israeli tools of lies and their mouthpieces are horrified by "miserable campaigns to distort history, erase facts, and question the credibility of everyone who condemns its crimes and demands that it respect international law and humanitarian values".
He explained that these false campaigns target the United Nations and its humanitarian organizations, and states and leaders because they have said enough to the oppression, injustice, occupation, and undermining of the region's security.
Safadi affirmed that the voice of right is louder, against which all the lies of the Israeli government and its mouthpieces are broken.
He said that Jordan will continue to expose the inhumanity of the occupation and the destructiveness of its continuation, and to mobilize practical, effective, and deterrent international steps that curb the expansionism and aggression of the Israeli government.
He added, "Because we want a just peace that guarantees security and stability for the entire region; because we believe in justice and international law; and because we are committed to shared humanitarian values."
Safadi emphasized that the Israeli government "is jeopardizing the future of the entire region with conflict and suffering," considering this to be the truth that the Israeli government is trying in vain to bury, and this is the reality that the international community's efforts must be combined to change.
He stressed the necessity of holding the Israeli government accountable for its breach of international law, for the injustice, oppression, and deprivation it imposes on the Palestinian people, and for the conflicts that threaten international security and peace in the region.
