Irbid residents offer condolences for the nation's martyrs at a collective mourning house on the historic Irbid Hill

Large numbers of Irbid Governorate residents, along with official, popular, and youth representatives, flocked today to the mourning house established by the Greater Irbid Municipality, in cooperation with church leaders and the governorate's citizens, on the historic Irbid Hill, to honor the souls of the martyrs, facilitate the process for residents wishing to offer their condolences, and ease the burden on the Karak mourning services.

Irbid Governor, Firas Abu Al-Ghanem, emphasized while offering condolences that Jordanians stand firmly united around the wise Hashemite leadership, noting that Jordan is strong and impregnable under its wise Hashemite leadership, which has made it an impenetrable dam and a solid force in the face of all trials and challenges. Abu Al-Ghanem also stressed the strength of the social fabric and the inclusive national unity that characterizes all the nation's people, extending his thanks and appreciation for the sincere efforts made by security agencies in protecting the nation's security and safeguarding its stability.

For his part, the head of the Greater Irbid Municipality Committee, Imad Al-Azzam, explained that holding the mourning house on the historic Irbid Hill was intended to support the martyrs' families and facilitate the offering of condolences for all residents of the governorate who wish to do so. He pointed out that this solidarity reflects the true image of Jordan and embodies the fraternal cohesion and national partnership among all components of society, church leaders, and the people of Irbid, to confirm that everyone stands in one rank.

In turn, MP Tareq Bani Hani stated that His Majesty King Abdullah II confirmed from the first day that the perpetrators would be arrested and held accountable, and that there would be no leniency with any party seeking to harm the safety of citizens. He pointed to His Majesty's continuous follow-up, direct presence, and firm stance, which translate the strength and immunity of Jordan and the rallying of its people behind their Hashemite leadership.

For his part, the President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry, Hani Abu Hassan, stressed that the rallying of Jordanians around their Hashemite leadership represents the safety valve and the fundamental pillar for the state's stability, confirming that holding this mourning service is nothing but a confirmation and clear evidence of the national unity and fraternal solidarity among all members of society. He added that despite the harshness and pain of the event, this national cohesion is the greatest proof that Jordan is an impenetrable dam and a rock upon which all attempts targeting its security, stability, and solid social fabric will shatter.

The Governor was accompanied while offering condolences by the Irbid Governorate Police Director, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Abadi, and a number of officers and directors of security agencies and executive departments in the governorate.
