Revolutionary Guard warns of clashes expanding to its bases in the region

The Revolutionary Guard warned the United States on Thursday against its insistence on inciting ships to cross the illegal corridor, which will lead to the expansion of clashes to its bases in the region.

Tasnim International News Agency reported that the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard said in a statement: The American insistence (..) on inciting ships to cross the illegal, mine-laced corridor has increased maritime incidents day by day, and the US military must know that the continuation of this approach will lead to the expansion of the scope of confrontation to the aggressors' bases in the region. This is a serious warning.

Iran has informed the United States of 7 conditions to start negotiations, at a time when military and diplomatic options intersect regarding the future of the confrontation and the nuclear file.

The United States had announced the expansion of secondary sanctions that can be imposed on entities and countries with trade relations with Iran around the world as part of the "Economic Outcast" operation against Iran, at a time when Washington is significantly escalating its economic pressure on Tehran.

Between July 8 and 24, the United States resumed its attacks on Iran, and Tehran responded by attacking countries in the region, before resuming talks on safe corridors for ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States re-imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz, following the renewal of clashes described as the most violent since the ceasefire that came into effect between the two parties in April.

The war broke out on February 28, when Israel and the United States attacked Iran, to which Tehran responded by closing the Strait of Hormuz, which before the war was the main waterway for about a fifth of global energy supplies.
