Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy announces 7 ships hit in the Gulf

The naval forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated on Thursday that four tankers involved in illegal oil transport operations in the northern Gulf were struck simultaneously, causing them to catch fire, after being spotted by Revolutionary Guard forces on Wednesday.
The Revolutionary Guard added that three other ships struck mines west of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Guard warned the US military that continued provocations might lead to a broader response targeting its bases in the region.
