The Spanish government condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place during a funeral mass at a church in Karak Governorate, according to a statement issued by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry expressed Spain's sincere condolences to the families of the victims and their relatives, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured, noting its sincere solidarity with the government and people of Jordan, and the Christian community in the Kingdom.
The Spanish government affirmed its unwavering support for the Jordanian authorities in their efforts to combat the threat of terrorism, reiterating its rejection of and fight against all forms of hate speech, which contradict the values of peace and humanity.
