Poland condemned the terrorist attack that took place at a church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, Saturday, that Poland strongly condemns the attack that targeted the church, calling for the perpetrators to be held accountable.
The Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and its solidarity with the Jordanian authorities and the Christian community in the governorate.
It affirmed that Jordan is an important partner for Poland, as the two countries have been engaged together for many years in combating terrorism and extremism, expressing its appreciation for the special role that Jordan plays in promoting interfaith dialogue.
