The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Friday the targeting of an oil tanker flying the flag of Togo in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a statement by the official news agency "IRNA".
In a statement by the commander of the Revolutionary Guard Navy, Admiral Ali Ozmaei, early Friday morning, it was said: "The illegal Togo-flagged oil tanker +Trend+, which was in violation, attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz illegally under the instigation and deception of the US military, but it was hit and forced to stop after a fire broke out on it"
